Come as you are

Down to earth therapy for couples, adults, and teens across Ontario.

Therapy built around what you need

You bring your story, your questions, and what feels stuck. You get a supportive, structured space to slow things down, name patterns, and build practical steps forward. Sessions stay grounded in your goals, with a focus on nervous system regulation, clear communication, and lasting change.

Come as you are

Over the years, I’ve sat with all kinds of people — from folks raised in the bush to those from downtown high-rises; from hardened tradesmen who never thought they’d step into therapy, to new parents running on fumes, to young adults figuring out identity, belonging, and purpose. I’ve spent more than a decade working in outdoor and therapeutic settings with teenagers and adults from every walk of life. Whether it’s been with Indigenous and Northern communities, inner-city youth, or people just trying to get their footing again, I’ve learned that everyone’s carrying something — and everyone can benefit from a space to unpack it.

I believe in the power of movement — physical, emotional, and relational — as a way to create change that lasts. My work often focuses on helping people navigate anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship challenges, stress, grief, and major life transitions. I draw from Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) — practical, down-to-earth approaches that help people make sense of what’s happening internally and take meaningful steps forward.

At the core of my work is trust, honesty, and genuine conversation. I aim to create a space where people of all backgrounds can feel understood — without judgment, without pretense. I’m currently a Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, and my goal is simple: to help you move toward a version of yourself that feels clearer, stronger, and more grounded in who you are.

About Kevin

Hi, I’m Kevin

A Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, and a Bachelor of Business from St. Francis Xavier University. I’m also a Certified Ontario Teacher, with over a decade of experience working alongside youth and adults in both educational and therapeutic settings.

I work with teens, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, stress, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Some clients come in feeling stuck, others overwhelmed, and some just know something needs to shift but can’t quite name it yet. That’s where we start.

My approach is practical, relational, and grounded in real life. I use a trauma-informed lens and draw from approaches like Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT). In couples work, I integrate the Gottman Method and the Developmental Model. Translation: we make sense of what’s going on, get clear on what matters, and actually work toward change—not just talk about it.

Outside the therapy room, I’m the Clinical Director at The Boundless School, and come from a strong background in outdoor education. As a whitewater canoe guide, ski and snowboard instructor, and wilderness first responder, I’ve seen how growth often happens through movement, challenge, and the environments we’re in—not just by sitting still and thinking harder.

I offer both in-person and virtual sessions, with daytime and evening availability. If you’re curious about working together, you can book a free 15-minute consultation and we’ll see if it’s a good fit.
