Come as you are
Over the years, I’ve sat with all kinds of people — from folks raised in the bush to those from downtown high-rises; from hardened tradesmen who never thought they’d step into therapy, to new parents running on fumes, to young adults figuring out identity, belonging, and purpose. I’ve spent more than a decade working in outdoor and therapeutic settings with teenagers and adults from every walk of life. Whether it’s been with Indigenous and Northern communities, inner-city youth, or people just trying to get their footing again, I’ve learned that everyone’s carrying something — and everyone can benefit from a space to unpack it.
I believe in the power of movement — physical, emotional, and relational — as a way to create change that lasts. My work often focuses on helping people navigate anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship challenges, stress, grief, and major life transitions. I draw from Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) — practical, down-to-earth approaches that help people make sense of what’s happening internally and take meaningful steps forward.
At the core of my work is trust, honesty, and genuine conversation. I aim to create a space where people of all backgrounds can feel understood — without judgment, without pretense. I’m currently a Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, and my goal is simple: to help you move toward a version of yourself that feels clearer, stronger, and more grounded in who you are.
