Welcome to In Motion Psychotherapy

For a lot of people, the idea of therapy only comes up when things feel like they’re falling apart — when life feels too heavy, confusing, or stuck. And yes, therapy absolutely has a place for that. But it’s not only for when things are rough.

At In Motion Psychotherapy, I believe therapy can also be a place for growth — for curiosity, fine-tuning, and becoming a stronger version of yourself even when life’s going fairly well. Sometimes, our brains just get tangled up. Thoughts, feelings, memories, and responsibilities start to pile on top of each other, and it’s hard to know where to start or what to make of it all. Therapy is about organizing that mess in a way that makes sense — finding clarity, understanding, and direction again.

The goal here isn’t perfection. It’s movement. Sometimes that means forward, sometimes backward, sometimes sideways or even uphill — but always toward something meaningful.

Sessions are offered both in-person (Starting November) and virtually, making it easier to fit therapy into real life — whether you’re in town, on the road, or somewhere off the beaten path. I work with a wide range of people: from outdoor guides and health care practitioners to mechanics and everyone in between. No matter your background, this is a space to take a breath, get curious, and make sense of what’s going on beneath the surface.

My hope is that In Motion Psychotherapy becomes a place without judgment — where people of all walks of life can pause, reflect, and process what’s happening inside their own minds.

Whether you’re here to steady yourself, untangle old patterns, or simply see what’s possible next — you’re welcome here.
